Guide
Safety comes from chemistry, controls and siting together, not one feature.
PulseTrek uses LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells. LFP is far more thermally stable than the nickel-based lithium chemistries used in many consumer products, and it contains no cobalt. No battery is risk-free, which is why the other layers matter.
Follow the manual on siting and connection, use a qualified electrician for building connections, keep vents clear, and act on monitoring alerts.
Place units on firm, level ground away from drainage paths and flood-prone low spots. Keep the clearances in the manual around vents and doors so cooling air can flow and service is possible.
Keep combustible storage away from the unit, and do not block access for emergency services. For containerised systems, fire department review is part of permitting, and the layout is agreed before delivery.
Connections into buildings should be made by a licensed electrician, with correct overcurrent protection and labelling. Most incidents with any electrical equipment begin with an improvised connection.
Questions answered
Yes, when built on stable chemistry like LFP, controlled by a BMS and sited correctly.
Yes. Unlike a generator it produces no carbon monoxide. Follow the siting guidance for clearances.
Follow the manual: disconnect loads if safe, keep people away, and contact PulseTrek support. Call emergency services if there is smoke or fire.
