Outdoor loads are usually light but long. LED festoon lighting, fans, phone charging, a small fridge and Wi-Fi across a glamping site might average 1 to 2 kW through the evening and far less overnight. A 15 kWh Mini PulseTrek covers that comfortably between recharges; a 30 kWh trailer covers larger sites or longer weekends.
Cooking and heating are where budgets go wrong. Electric kettles, induction hobs and space heaters draw several kilowatts each. Keep those on gas, or size for them explicitly.
Solar changes the economics. With the upgrade kit, the battery refills every sunny day, so a season-long site can run without a single fuel delivery.
Questions answered
Yes: lighting, fans, device charging and small fridges are ideal battery loads.
Many parks restrict generator hours for noise; a battery is near-silent. Check local rules.
A few tents with lighting, fans and charging typically need 10 to 20 kWh per night; larger sites or cooking loads need more.
