PulseTrek
Even the quietest diesel sets run at 60 dB or more. A battery has no engine to hear.
Why
Noise limits usually decide where a generator can go and when it can run. On film sets it ruins takes; at events it pushes hospitality away from the stage; near homes it brings complaints and permit conditions.
A PulseTrek system has no engine, so the only sound is a cooling fan under heavy load. It can sit next to the set, the stage or the site office, which also shortens cable runs.
Where it is used
Generator makers quote noise at a set distance, often 7 metres or 23 feet. Even super-silent enclosed diesel sets usually measure in the 60s dB(A) at that distance, roughly a loud conversation, and louder when the load rises.
A battery has no engine or exhaust. Under heavy load a cooling fan may run; at light load it is effectively silent. That changes where it can go: next to a film set, behind a stage, beside a bedroom window on a night shift.
It also changes the paperwork. Many cities restrict generator hours near homes, and many venues restrict them near audiences. A battery usually sidesteps both.
Questions answered
A battery system, because it has no engine. PulseTrek units are near-silent in operation.
Yes. PulseTrek rents battery trailers across Texas and supplies all 50 states.
Near-silent. There is no engine; only a cooling fan may be audible under heavy load.
