Engineering
Design, engineering and turnkey delivery of battery energy storage — from a single mobile unit up to containerised systems at 8.3 MWh.
The most common mistake in storage projects is choosing a system size first and discovering the load profile afterwards. Power (kW) and energy (kWh) are separate constraints, and a system that satisfies one can fail the other badly.
We start from interval data, a single-line diagram or — where those do not exist yet — a measured load survey. That determines the power rating, the usable energy, the recharge window and whether the system should be AC- or DC-coupled.
Only then does the product conversation happen: trailer, multiple trailers or containerised, with or without solar, standalone or hybrid with existing generation.
Interval data, a single-line diagram, or simply a list of what is on site and when it runs.
Questions answered
An integrator takes responsibility for the system as a whole rather than a box: load analysis, sizing, architecture, integration with existing generation and switchgear, commissioning and handover.
DC-coupled is more efficient where solar charges the battery directly, because energy is not converted twice. AC-coupled is simpler to retrofit alongside existing generation. We specify whichever suits the site.
Interval data is ideal. A single-line diagram is very useful. If neither exists, a list of equipment, ratings and operating hours is enough for a first pass, and we can arrange a load survey to confirm it.
